About
A GP with a special interest in mental health
Dr Amit Rama completed his GP training in Coventry and Warwickshire in 2017 and has since built a career across both NHS and private practice, including clinics in South Warwickshire and The Cotswolds.
Amit has a particular interest in mental health, having completed an Advanced Diploma in Primary Care Mental Health. This training deepened his understanding of psychiatry and dementia care, areas he finds both challenging and rewarding.
He also performs minor surgical procedures and is an experienced GP trainer and tutor at Warwick Medical School, helping shape the next generation of doctors.

Outside the clinic
When he's not in clinic, Amit can usually be found with his wife and two daughters, experimenting in the kitchen, or watching football, cricket, or Formula 1. Often all three in the same weekend.
