Sports Injuries

Expert assessment and rehabilitation for sports injuries of all types.

Sports injuries range from minor sprains and strains to more serious ligament, tendon, and bone injuries. Getting the right diagnosis early is crucial — the wrong treatment or ignoring an injury can lead to chronic problems. We diagnose accurately and build a rehabilitation plan that gets you back to full fitness safely.

Common symptoms

  • Sudden pain during or after activity
  • Swelling, bruising, or tenderness around a joint or muscle
  • Reduced range of movement or stiffness
  • Instability or the joint giving way
  • Pain that worsens with activity and improves with rest
  • A popping or snapping sensation at the time of injury

When to see a doctor

If you cannot put weight on the injured area, if swelling is significant, if pain is severe, or if symptoms have not improved after a few days of rest and ice, a professional assessment is important. Do not try to train through a significant injury.

How we help at AtWell

Our physiotherapists specialise in sports injury assessment and rehabilitation. A thorough initial assessment identifies the exact injury, and treatment combines hands-on therapy with a progressive exercise programme. For serious injuries, we can arrange imaging (ultrasound, MRI) and specialist orthopaedic referrals within days.
