Insurance FAQs
Do I need a GP referral to claim on my insurance?
This depends on your policy. Some insurers require a GP referral, others allow self-referral. Check with your provider or call us and we can help you find out.
How many sessions will my insurance cover?
Coverage varies by policy. Most plans cover between 6 and 20 sessions per year. Your insurer will confirm this when you request authorisation.
Is there an excess or co-payment?
Some policies have an excess (a fixed amount you pay first) or co-payment (a percentage per session). Check your policy documents or call your insurer.
What if my insurer is not listed?
We may still be able to help. Contact us with your insurer details and we will check if we can work with them. Alternatively, you can pay directly and submit receipts for reimbursement.
Can I claim for online/video physiotherapy?
Many insurers now cover telehealth appointments. Check with your provider to confirm video consultations are included in your plan.
